Sztuka w formie zaangażowania społecznego. Artysta jak antropolog reaguje na ludzką kondycję, dostrzegając nastroje i ekspresję w płynących falach globalnej rzeczywistości.
Uczucie gniewu w obliczu bezradności, strachu w obliczu rosnącego zagrożenia i nietolerancji stało się dziś dominującym fermentem osadzającym ciemną warstwę na naszych sercach, duszach i umysłach.
Rosnący podział społeczeństwa na aktywnych i obojętnych, skrzywdzonych i obojętnych, zagrożonych i obojętnych, staje się coraz bardziej naszą rzeczywistością.

Jednak obecny stan społeczeństwa, napędzany informacją o negatywnej kondycji świata tez domaga się obecności w sztuce.I w dzisiejszym rozpracowywaniu tego tematu wnoszą sie nowe ciemne warstwy migrując w treść tego zamierzenia pogłembiając wyraz i emocje w materiale ceramicznym..
Interpretacja i komunikacja tego stanu jest tematem projektu instalacji pod tytułem ZAAM.

Art in the form of social engagement. Like an anthropologist, the artist reacts to the human condition, noticing moods and expressions in the flowing waves of global reality.Feelings of anger in the face of helplessness, fear of growing danger, and social intolerance have become today the dominant ferment depositing dark sediment in our hearts, souls, and minds. The growing division of society into the active and the indifferent, the wronged and the indifferent, the threatened and the indifferent is increasingly becoming our reality.Ihave been carrying the intention of an artistic message touching upon this subject for a long time. It is an inner need for creative expression stemming from the burden that has existed in me since my return to Poland. A commitment in this place has become more accurate and tangible, a stimulus provoking artistic involvement
The dark side of the Holocaust, my family experiences, and the new revelation of the horrible post-war events built the foundations for this project. But the current state of society, driven by negative information about the world’s condition, also demands to be present in the art. And as this work has been explored, horrifying events are taking place next to my homeland, added new dark layers that migrate into the existing content of this intention,deepeningexpression and emotion in the ceramic material.
The interpretation and communication of this condition is a subject of theproject installation entitled ZAAM.

Marek Cecula, artysta, projektant, były dziekan wydziału ceramiki w Parsons School of Design w Nowym Jorku. Professor at National College of Art and Design in Bergen Norway oraz w Royal College of Art w Londynie.
Jako artysta pracujący przez wiele lat w medium ceramicznym osiągnął wiodąca pozycje i uznanie w tej dziedzinie a jego prace zaistniały w prestiżowych kolekcjach muzealnych takich jak Victoria & Albert Museum London, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Museum of Arts and Design New York, Le Musée Royal de Mariemont Belgium.

Marek Cecula, artist, designer, and former Dean of the Ceramics Department at Parsons School of Design in New York. Professor at the National College of Art and Design in Bergen,Norwayand the Royal College of Art in London.
